Tutorial Exercises : Architectural Graphic, Sketching and Tonal Values
Project 1 : Movie Poster
This project aims to further develop our freehand drawing skills based on what we've assimilated from the previous tutorial exercises, including self-expression, drawing of natural and man-made objects, architectural lettering, tonal values and rendering. After completing this project, we were able to improve our colouring skills and choose a suitable colour palette for it to fully capture and express the essence the genre of the film.

Project 2A: Model Making
A compilation of works that aid us in both our model making and drawing skills. By the end of the project, we were able to refine our skills in visualization and communication of architectural idea, space and form.
Project 2B: Orthographic drawings
Project 2C: Axonometric Drawing
Project 2D: Perspective Drawings
Project 3 : Finishing & Presentation
To assemble our works from Project 2 into an organized manner, presenting them on an A1 board. After completing this final project, we were able to produce a cohesive composition of our work in a way that can communicate our ideas clearly to others.

Self-Reflection
From this module, I've assimilated the fundamental skills needed before advancing further into my architecture degree. Despite going fully online throughout the semester due to Covid, I was still equipped with sufficient and in-depth explanations on the topics given through video tutorials and online lectures provided by Dr.Lia, Ms. Carol and other lecturers. Consequently, I find little to no difficulty when exposed to the new information, for instance, learning how to draw axonometric and perspective drawings which I found them to be complicated prior to knowing the proper steps to draw them.
I am very grateful for my tutor, Ms. Carrol who has patiently guided me throughout the weeks of tutorial zoom sessions while I complete all my assignments, though I find it a pity that we were not able to have face-to-face classes. Under her thoughtful guidance, I've learnt the importance of neatness in drawings and model making, as well as translating my ideas into a cohesive, neat and organized manner. Though I still have much to improve on, she has inspired me to do hone my skills further.
